Title: Fatshimetrie: Weather forecast for the week in Egypt
Fatshimetrie brings you the latest weather forecasts for Egypt. According to Manar Ghanem, a member of the Information Center of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, Friday’s weather will see a slight increase in daytime temperatures, by one to two degrees in most northern governorates.
This rise in temperatures is attributed to the influence of the Indian seasonal trough, which covers a large area of ββthe Arabian Peninsula and parts of Asia, Europe and Africa. This trough carries warm air masses that lose some of their heat once they pass over the Mediterranean Sea.
However, it is expected to carry large amounts of moisture and water vapor, making us feel the rising temperatures more.
Manar Ghanem pointed out that temperatures are one to two degrees above their normal levels for this time of year. Temperatures are forecast to continue to rise throughout next week, particularly mid-week, where the peak of the rise is expected, with maximum temperatures in Greater Cairo varying between 39 and 40 degrees Celsius. Very hot weather will prevail in most governorates due to the continued influence of the Indian seasonal trough.
