Shocking Arrests and Gruesome Discoveries: The Crimes Being Talked About in Ondo State

In a recent police operation carried out by officers of the Safer Highway Patrol in Ondo State, the scene that unfolded at the Isua/Epinmi checkpoint was most shocking. During a routine check, officers arrested an individual carrying sinister objects, including dry human skulls, fresh human flesh, and amulets hidden in a bag of garri. A macabre discovery which aroused horror and incomprehension.

The suspect, Yusuf Adenoyin, 31, admitted to being on his way to supply the items to herbalists. Even more disturbing, he admitted to delivering seven human skulls before before being apprehended by authorities. A shocking revelation which raises questions about the origin of these human remains and the possible involvement of other individuals in this macabre traffic.

Police spokesperson Funmilayo Odunlami stressed that the investigation is still ongoing to apprehend other possible accomplices. Meanwhile, three individuals were arrested for their involvement in armed robbery activities in Akure, the state capital. Uche Onu, Ekene Okorie and Celestine Eze were apprehended through extensive investigative efforts and confessed their guilt.

The suspects admitted to involvement in the theft of a Scania truck as well as 61 empty gas cylinders worth a total of N12,000. A police officer was injured during the incident, highlighting the danger and violence of these criminal acts. Authorities also managed to recover the stolen truck in Benin City, as well as the 61 empty gas cylinders in Lagos.
