Improved conditions for Borno pilgrims during Hajj 2023

The Fatshimetrie team recently made an important announcement on Hajj 2023 preparations for Borno pilgrims. Senator Kaka-Shehu Lawan, Chairman of the State Amirul Hajj Committee, told a press conference in Maiduguri that steps have been taken to ensure adequate mobilization of Borno pilgrims so that they can perform the exercise of Hajj with ease.

A total investment of N521.4 million was allocated for the purchase of sacrificers and payment of differential BTA. This sum includes N261 million for the purchase of the sacrificial animals and N260.4 million for the difference in BTA. Senator Lawan also mentioned that each pilgrim would receive $500 under the BTA, which is a significant improvement from the initial allocation of $415.

The generosity of the state government towards the pilgrims was highlighted by Senator Lawan, who encouraged the pilgrims to pray for the leadership, peace and prosperity of the state and the country at large. He expressed gratitude to the governor for his support to the committee, which helped ensure the smooth conduct of the Hajj exercise.

This decision to provide an increased amount for BTA is expected to provide relief to many pilgrims during their stay in the holy land. It demonstrates the government’s commitment to the welfare of pilgrims and reinforces the importance it places on the success of their pilgrimage journey.

In conclusion, the announcement of the additional allocation of funds for Borno pilgrims in preparation for the 2023 Hajj is a positive step that demonstrates the care and support given to these pious travelers. This measure will surely help to facilitate their participation in this major spiritual experience and to strengthen the links between the State and its citizens in this period of devotion and contemplation.
