The first year of Tinubu’s administration: a promising record for Nigeria

The celebration of the first anniversary of Tinubu’s administration, in Abuja during the ministerial briefing, was an opportunity for the Minister of Information and National Guidance, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, to report on the actions undertaken during this period. Tinubu’s administration built on the Renewal of Hope and began to lay strong and lasting foundations to improve the lives of citizens.

Some of the flagship initiatives include the Consumer Credit Corporation, the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative, the N200 billion Presidential Grant and the Student Loan Scheme. These actions demonstrate the commitment made to economic and social development.

The efforts deployed in the field of Agriculture and Food Security, including the launch of dry season cultivation and the massive distribution of fertilizers, as well as the Renewal of Hope Infrastructure Development Fund (RDIF) and the Cities and Areas of Renewal of Hope Program, contribute to building a promising future for the country.

Furthermore, reforms undertaken in the electricity sector, taxation and negotiations for a new national minimum wage demonstrate the commitment to a prosperous and fair economy.

President Tinubu is working hard to reduce the cost of living and doing business in Nigeria, while attracting more local and foreign investment, and modernizing the country’s infrastructure.

This commemoration of the first year of the administration is the ideal opportunity to present the government’s record to Nigerians, telling them the story of the achievements made so far.

Speakers at the ministerial briefing include the Ministers of Budget and National Planning, Youth Development, Steel Development, and Energy.

In conclusion, the Tinubu government promises to continue its efforts and truly deliver the Renewal of Hope to all Nigerians.
