Fatshimetry: Ismael Munanga Arrested in the Murder of Dido Kankisingi in Kinshasa
The murder case of Dido Kankisingi in Kinshasa takes a new turn as Ismael Munanga, fifth defendant, is apprehended and transferred to Kindu central prison. The arrest of this close collaborator of the interim governor of the province of Maniema, Afani Idrissa Mangala, shakes public opinion and revives the hopes of the victim’s family.
Since April 29, Ismael Munanga has been wanted in connection with this affair which shook the region. Remember that Dido Kankisingi, lawyer and member of the political party Ensemble pour la République, lost his life during the clashes that occurred on November 28, 2023 in Kindu, on the sidelines of Moise Katumbi’s electoral campaign. His death deeply affected the community and aroused strong emotion across the country.
