Services Offered by the Ministry of Emigration to Egyptians Abroad

In an increasingly connected global context, the services offered to citizens abroad are of crucial importance. Emigration Minister Soha Gendy recently announced that a diverse range of 14 services had been put in place for Egyptians living outside their country of origin.

These services aim to make life easier for expatriates and meet their most pressing needs. Among the initiatives put in place, the Minister announced the creation of an emergency fund in partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. This investment fund was specially designed to help Egyptians in the event of an emergency abroad.

In addition to this fund, several other services have been set up to support the Egyptian diaspora. Reductions are thus offered to pay military obligations, advantages on air fares, pension certificates in US dollars, savings accounts in dollars in Egyptian banks, as well as facilities for the purchase of housing and land in dollars.

These measures demonstrate the Egyptian government’s commitment to its citizens residing abroad. They also illustrate the desire to facilitate the integration and well-being of expatriates, while offering them investment opportunities and support when needed.

Minister Gendy highlighted the importance of these services to strengthen ties with the Egyptian diaspora and encourage an active and positive relationship with expatriates. These measures are part of a global approach aimed at promoting and supporting the Egyptian community abroad, while offering them guarantees of security and support in case of need.

In conclusion, the services offered by the Ministry of Emigration to Egyptians living abroad constitute real help and valuable support for the diaspora. They demonstrate the government’s desire to respond to the specific needs of expatriates and to help strengthen the ties that unite Egypt with its diaspora around the world.
