**Investments in development projects in the Ismailia region: A vision for the future of Egypt**

The governor of the Ismailia region, located in Egypt, is undergoing massive investment for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. According to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, a sum of 6.5 billion Egyptian pounds was allocated, with the implementation of 333 projects.

The investment plan aims to raise awareness of the priorities of the sustainable development plan and its role in achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030. Figures reveal that almost half of the investment, £2.9 billion, will be spent on the Suez Canal, while the higher education sector will receive £793 million, representing 12% of total investment.

Furthermore, the health sector is allocated 773.2 million pounds, or 12% of total investments. The planning also includes investments of 754.6 million pounds for the local development sector, and 351.5 million for housing.

The objectives of the investment plan include the realization of 180 development projects in the field of local development services in Ismailia. The minister announced an allocation of 222.4 million pounds for repairing local roads, as well as 59 million to strengthen the electricity network.

Regarding housing, 51 development projects are planned, with a budget of 223.5 million pounds reserved for drinking water supply and sanitation projects.

These massive investments demonstrate the Egyptian government’s commitment to the development and prosperity of the Ismailia region, highlighting its importance in achieving the goals of Vision 2030. These efforts aim to improve the quality of life of residents, stimulate the local economy and strengthen essential infrastructure for sustainable growth.
