Recently, the governor of South Sinai, Khaled Fouda, and the Minister of Religious Affairs, Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, initiated the construction of an international religious and cultural complex in the Nabq region.

With its striking architectural design inspired by the Misr Mosque of the New Administrative Capital, the complex will house the “Angel Michael” church and the “al-Wali al-Hamid” mosque, along with various amenities and leisure facilities to cater to the needs of guests.
The establishment of this international religious and cultural complex marks a significant leap in diversifying Sharm el-Sheikh’s tourism offerings.
