The resilience of the APC in the face of political tumults in Africa

During the reception of members of the APC Presidents’ Forum in Abuja, Ganduje’s recent statement sparked reflections on the tumultuous nature of African politics. Ganduje highlighted the disruptive elements in the political landscape, noting that they hinder the main political parties from advancing constructively. Despite these challenges, he expressed confidence in his party’s resilience, citing its determination and clear objectives as key strengths.

The African political scene is known for its complexities and distractions that often veer attention away from core issues. Ganduje reaffirmed the APC’s unwavering focus on its trajectory, backed by the support of the President, numerous governors, and senators, as well as the continuous influx of new party members.

During the visit of the APC Presidents’ Forum, Alphonsus Okadigbo emphasized the importance of backing Ganduje and the party’s leadership to foster unity and cohesion within the APC amidst turbulent times and attempts at division.

Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State Chairman of the APC, expressed concern over the reported suspension of Ganduje, stressing the necessity of adhering to the party’s statutes and regulations before any such decision is made. This situation underscores the significance of unity and coherence within the APC to surmount obstacles and continue on the path towards a stable and prosperous political future.

The solidarity and steadfastness of APC members in staying true to their common objectives, despite adversities and controversies, demonstrate the party’s resilience in the face of political turbulence in Africa. By prioritizing cohesion, maintaining clear objectives, and offering mutual support, the APC aims to construct a sturdy and sustainable political future for its members and the nation at large.

The strength and credibility of a political party are measured by its capacity to overcome challenges while remaining steadfastly focused on the future, transcending differences and highlighting unity and cohesion as the pillars of its resilience.
