Félix Tshisekedi honors the winners who built the Congolese National Service

Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, recently presided over the ceremony where 1,600 National Service builder laureates were awarded certificates. This event highlights the government’s dedication to the training of young individuals and the reconstruction of the nation.

The transformation of these 1,600 young people, previously labeled as uncivil, through an intensive two-year training program led by Major General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik, exemplifies their commitment to becoming agents of change and national development. Their success is a testament to their hard work and the unwavering support provided by the Head of State.

During the certificate award ceremony, Major General Kasongo Kabwik acknowledged President Tshisekedi’s crucial role in the training program’s success. He expressed gratitude for the resources allocated by the government, enabling these young builders to receive high-quality supervision at Kanyama Kasese.

These accomplished individuals will now utilize their newfound skills nationwide. Some will be involved in renovating the Kintambo general reference hospital in Kinshasa, while others will contribute to producing benches in the carpentry workshop of the National Service in N’sele.

This initiative, aimed at retraining young delinquents into nation builders, signifies a remarkable achievement by granting a second chance to those seeking reintegration into society. The continuous recruitment of more idle and delinquent youth to follow suit underscores the program’s effectivity in transforming lives.

In the current era of reconstruction and progress, engaging the youth in constructing a better future for Congo stands as a crucial necessity. The training and guidance provided by the National Service serve as a significant catalyst for fostering the professional and social integration of young individuals, ultimately contributing to the formation of a more cohesive and prosperous society.

The distribution of certificates to the accomplished builders of the National Service represents a beacon of hope for the future of Congolese youth and a tangible demonstration of the government’s commitment to the training and professional integration of young individuals.
