The Democratic Republic of Congo is a country with varied natural wealth, but despite this, many regions still suffer from food insecurity. It is in this context that the non-profit organization Ujaama Holding launched an awareness campaign in Goma, North Kivu, on modern local agriculture.
The objective of this initiative is to promote new agricultural techniques to urban farmers, already trained, in order to maximize their skills and promote more productive agriculture. By also involving more than five hundred displaced farmers in this process, the non-profit organization aims to share their experiences and strengthen agricultural practices in the region.
