This meeting aims to find lasting solutions to ease tensions between Kinshasa and Kigali and put an end to the activities of the M23 rebels, supported by the Kagame regime, at the origin of insecurity in the region.

It is crucial that discussions between the various actors concerned result in concrete measures to bring peace and stability to this troubled area. The stakes are high and require regional and international cooperation to put an end to this cycle of violence.
