“Gentiny Ngobila summoned by the courts: What consequences for Congolese politics?”

In the latest twist in the news in the Democratic Republic of Congo, justice has summoned Gentiny Ngobila for a hearing. Following his rehabilitation by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Interior, Security and Customary Affairs, the governor of Kinshasa is expected before the prosecutor at the Court of Cassation on Thursday February 22.

It was Alexis Amisi Ometete, the first secretary of this body, who officially announced the summons of Gentiny Ngobila, although the reason for this hearing was not explicitly specified.
