Ngondi Primary School, located in Kenge Territory in Kwango Province, recently benefited from the addition of six new classrooms through the 145 Territory Local Development Program. This initiative was warmly welcomed by those in charge of the establishment, teachers, parents and the local population.
The Director of Ngondi Primary School, Jean Noel Kubandila Nzala, expressed his gratitude to this new construction which puts an end to the difficulties encountered by students and teachers, particularly during bad weather. A teacher stressed the importance of the new sanitary facilities which will allow children to no longer have to go into nature for their needs.
The new classrooms offer modern facilities meeting all educational requirements. The director welcomed these improvements by highlighting the new infrastructure available, such as the administrative office, the meeting room and the head of establishment’s accommodation.
For his part, the president of the parents’ committee underlined the satisfaction of the local population with these new buildings which contribute to improving the learning conditions of students at Ngondi primary school.
It should be noted that Ngondi primary school has been operational since 1996, thus highlighting the importance of these new infrastructures in ensuring an educational environment conducive to the development of students.
This investment in education is excellent news for the local community, demonstrating the importance placed on education by the authorities and development partners in the region. These efforts to improve school infrastructure help provide children with a safe learning environment suited to their educational needs.
