In the province of Tshopo, located in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, operations to identify elected provincial deputies will begin this Monday at the Provincial Assembly. This announcement was made in a press release relayed by the ACP, the Congolese Press Agency.

According to Kombozi, administrative director of the Provincial Assembly, all administrative agents as well as support staff working for the secretariat of this institution are also called to return to service pending the convening of the extraordinary session.

It is important to emphasize that the publication of the results of the provincial legislative elections in the province of Tshopo took place on January 22. Of the 27 deputies in the province, only 7 were re-elected.
