LINAFOOT: Following the riots, the DCMP loses by forfeit against AS VClub

The DCMP, a football team from Kinshasa, suffered a defeat by forfeit during its match against AS VClub. This decision was taken by the LINAFOOT Management Commission following the events that occurred during the 13th day, which led to the interruption of the match due to riots in the Tata Raphael stadium.

With this decision, DCMP ends the season with 34 points, while AS VClub stagnates at 28 points. This Kinshasa derby was stopped in the 36th minute after a penalty in favor of AS VClub was contested by DCMP supporters.

The scuffles that broke out prevented the referee from continuing the match, plunging the stadium into total confusion. Following this suspension, the result of the match was invalidated and AS VClub won by forfeit.

Despite this defeat, as bitter as it may be, the two teams, DCMP and AS VClub, are however qualified for the Play Off phase of LINAFOOT. They will join Maniema Union and Dauphins Noirs in group B.

In group A, FC Lupopo, TP Mazembe, Lubumbashi Sport and Don Bosco managed to qualify for the LINAFOOT Play Off phase.
