Finally, the Director General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET), Professor Mansur Bako Matazu, was ousted and his place is replaced by Professor Charles Anosike, who will now occupy the position of Director General of NiMET.

Another notable appointment is the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Captain Alkali Mahmud Modibbo, who has been dismissed from his position. He will be replaced, initially, by Mr. Joseph Shaka Imalighwe as Acting Rector pending the appointment of a full Rector, in accordance with the Nigerian College of Aeronautical Technology Act, 2022.
