DJ Vinnie also got the crowd going with his mixes. Additional attractions were provided by Magic Whizz, Carton Boys and GKB.

Despite the show’s many highlights, performances by Tuface Idibia, Ruggedman and music veteran Fuji Adewale Ayuba stood out.

Among the personalities present at the event were the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, the Right Honorable Mudashiru Obasa, as well as other legislators, the Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Arts, Lagos State Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, renowned Nigerian industrialist, Chief Razak Okoya and his beloved wife, Dr. Sade Okoya, Kenny Keke Ogungbe, ID Ogungbe, among several others.

Adeyinka D 1st also expressed gratitude to the artists who contributed to the success of Laffmattazz Lagos Again. He said: “I will never be able to repay all my colleagues for what they did to support me in making the Lagos Again edition of Laffmattazz a success. It was a huge show of love from start to finish. Even though we were on tour we stayed in touch with our base and that showed during the event. We had attendees and performers at the show. The show was a reward for myself and all our team members, and we’re grateful. But like Oliver Twist, we always want more so we can do more.”
