Title: The Bralima Foundation supports the social inclusion of people with disabilities
Introduction :
In a laudable gesture in favor of social inclusion, the Bralima Foundation recently provided certificates and sewing kits to 20 people with disabilities, including 17 women and 3 men, who participated in a month-long training course. at the Rehabilitation Center for People Living with Disabilities (CRPH). This initiative aims to enable trained people to gain autonomy and find their place in the job market.
Equipment adapted for successful professional training:
The Bralima Foundation is committed to supporting these people with disabilities by providing them with the tools necessary to practice the profession of designer. The donation included 5 electric machines, 15 treadle machines, 5 overcasting machines, 2 button machines, 30 arm machines and 30 wooden chairs. In addition to machines, the foundation also provided linings, calico fabrics, floral fabrics, gabardines and ironing boards. This material will enable the winners to launch into their new careers with confidence and meet society’s sewing needs.
An approach to social inclusion and the promotion of people with disabilities:
The Bralima Foundation is part of a social inclusion approach by recognizing the role and value of people with disabilities within Congolese society.
