Introduction :

The Director General of the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP), Miguel Kashal Katemb, visited Kikwit, in the province of Kwilu, with the aim of expanding the activities of the ARSP in this part of the country. During a popular gathering, he encouraged the population to take ownership of President Félix Tshisekedi’s vision focused on promoting entrepreneurship. Its objective is to stimulate the country’s economic independence by developing a real middle class.

ARSP’s message to Kikwit:

Accompanied by his deputy Georgine Madiko, Miguel Kashal Katemb underlined the importance of subcontracting for the Congolese economy and job creation. He mentioned that the ARSP was still little known to the population, which is why he came to Kikwit to inform and train the residents. The upcoming installation of an ARSP directorate in the province of Kwilu was also announced.

Promote entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment:

The Director General of ARSP invited young people from Kikwit to develop their entrepreneurial skills in order to reduce the unemployment rate in the region. He stressed the importance of renewing confidence in President Félix Tshisekedi and supporting his reforms to maintain the ongoing development momentum.

A national extension of the ARSP:

The ARSP seeks to expand its activities in all provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo in order to promote the creation of a true middle class. Recently, an ARSP representation was opened in the province of North Kivu. This expansion aims to reach all regions of the country and offer closer support to local entrepreneurs.
