“Kinshasa: The asphalting work on Avenue Nzolana is completed, a major step forward for the improvement of road infrastructure”

Asphalting works on Avenue Nzolana in Kinshasa were recently completed, marking a significant step forward in improving the Congolese capital’s road infrastructure. The Minister of ITPR, Alexis Gisaro, visited the site to see the progress of the work, despite pouring rain.

This road, which connects the Binza Pompage neighborhoods to the UPN, commune of Ngaliema, was initially planned to be completed in 2024. Thanks to the intensive efforts of the Congolese Agency for Major Works (ACGT) and the company CREC 8 in responsible for the project, the work was carried out more quickly than expected. The minister underlined the sacrifices and the intensity of the work provided by the teams on the ground to achieve this progress.

The completion of this work represents a real improvement for the inhabitants of nearly ten neighborhoods which were previously isolated, such as Sanga Mamba and Boma Libala. The population will now be able to benefit from smooth traffic in this part of Kinshasa.

The head of state should inaugurate this new road by the end of November, if no unforeseen event disrupts the preparations. This inauguration will symbolize both the modernization of the capital’s infrastructure and the improvement in the quality of life of residents.

In conclusion, the paving work on Avenue Nzolana in Kinshasa was successfully completed, providing the population with improved traffic conditions and opening up certain neighborhoods. This project, which was initially scheduled to take place over several years, was able to be completed more quickly thanks to the commitment of the teams on the ground.
