Noël Tshiani: A candidate committed to the sovereignty of the DRC
Noël Tshiani, presidential candidate on December 20, 2023 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is a committed politician who has just published a new work entitled “From father and mother: what future for the DRC?”. In this book, he addresses the question of Congolity and highlights the need to lock certain public functions to guarantee the sovereignty of the country.
Noël Tshiani is a fervent defender of Congoleseness, which is why he drafted a bill on this subject, tabled in the National Assembly in 2022. In his book, he explains that having a Congolese parent is accepted, but he believes that these people must be prevented from accessing positions which could put them in a situation of having to choose between the interests of the DRC and those of another country.
This work is the fifth written by Noël Tshiani, who has already made himself known with his previous book entitled “The Marshall Plan for the DRC”. He is also known for his approach to requesting the invalidation of the candidacy of Moïse Katumbi, whom he accuses of having held Italian nationality. His request was, however, rejected by the Constitutional Court.
Noël Tshiani thus displays his determination to defend the sovereignty of the DRC and to promote Congolity. His positions and political actions make him a committed candidate who arouses interest and attention in the run-up to the upcoming elections.
