After a visit to Paris to meet President Emmanuel Macron, Senegalese President Macky Sall traveled to Ivory Coast for a brief meeting with his counterpart Alassane Ouattara. The two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the good relations between their respective countries, in a regional context marked by instability.
During their lunch at Ouattara’s residence in Abidjan, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Ouattara even called Sall a “younger brother”, emphasizing the close ties between Senegal and Ivory Coast as well as their personal relations of friendship.
