Discover the latest news on the training of Congolese entrepreneurs on the intra-African market. The President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, recently gave instructions to support the training of Congolese entrepreneurs in order to exploit the opportunities offered by the African market and to actively participate in intra-African trade.
This commitment to training Congolese entrepreneurs is part of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which aims to promote trade between African countries. The government, through the National Export Promotion Agency (ANAPEX), will set up training programs aimed at supporting Congolese economic operators in their development on the intra-African market.
This initiative is all the more important as the Democratic Republic of Congo has a privileged geographical position, offering numerous export opportunities to nine potential markets. Thus, the training of entrepreneurs from the different provinces of the country will be taken into account in this export management and development program.
ANAPEX, created in March 2020, plays a key role in promoting Congolese exports. Its objective is to support economic operators in the export of agricultural, agro-industrial, industrial and artisanal products to national and international markets. Training entrepreneurs in the intra-African market will therefore promote their commercial expansion and contribute to the economic development of the country.
This initiative is part of the desire of the Minister of Foreign Trade, Jean-Lucien Bussa Tongba, to increase the DRC’s trade with third-party economies and to promote Congolese exports.
Training entrepreneurs in the intra-African market is a crucial step to promote their success and competitiveness. By providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the AfCFTA, the Congolese government is showing its commitment to the economic development of the country.
This approach will help to strengthen the presence of Congolese entrepreneurs on the intra-African market, increase exports and promote the socio-economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
