The First Lady stressed the importance of prevention and the fight against sickle cell anemia, and announced that screening kits will soon be made available to students in certain hospitals in Lubumbashi.

The EXCELLENTIA program, which is in its fourth edition, aims to award a total of 1,000 scholarships, including 100 internationally and 900 to local winners. To date, it already has 241 scholarship holders, including 82 who are continuing their studies abroad and 159 local scholarship holders.
