The Ministry of Hydrocarbons in the DRC is equipped with a new management tool for better governance and coordination of activities.

The general secretariat of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons is equipped with a new management and communication tool to improve its functioning. Under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the Civil Service, Jean-Pierre Lihau, this organic framework aims to strengthen the administrative capacities of the ministry and to guarantee good governance in the hydrocarbon sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

As part of the modernization of public administration, the Ministry of Hydrocarbons undertakes to respect the defined employment ceiling and to comply with the recruitment and human resources management standards of the State. This new management instrument will therefore be a valuable guide in the transformation of the human resources management method of the General Secretariat of Hydrocarbons.

The organic structures make it possible to clearly define the responsibilities of each person within the Ministry of Hydrocarbons. This will promote better coordination of activities and efficient distribution of tasks. This approach aims to optimize resources and strengthen the effectiveness of the ministry in its missions of socio-economic development of the country.

In addition to guaranteeing more rigorous management of human resources, this organic framework will also serve as a reference for controlling staff numbers and payroll. It will help avoid overcrowding and promote more efficient management of available resources.

The Minister of Hydrocarbons, Didier Budimbu, welcomes this major step forward for his ministry and underlines the importance of having competent executives to improve the quality of the services provided. Thanks to this new management tool, the Ministry of Hydrocarbons will be able to effectively address the challenges inherent in the exploitation of hydrocarbons in the DRC and thus contribute to the economic development of the country.

In conclusion, the establishment of this organic framework within the general secretariat of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons demonstrates the desire of the Congolese government to modernize public administration and improve governance in the hydrocarbon sector. This management tool will strengthen the capacities of the ministry and promote better coordination of activities, while ensuring control of staff and human resources.
