Study and employment opportunities:
At the end of the training, the best performing students will have the opportunity to continue their studies at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, in partnership with Kamoa-Centre of Excellence. This opportunity opens doors to more advanced careers and provides students with the opportunity to further develop their skills. Additionally, some students could be directly hired by Kamoa Copper to bring their expertise to the company.

During a recent visit to the region, President Félix Tshisekedi expressed his support and encouraged Kamoa-Center of Excellence students to give their best. He underlined the importance of their contribution to the development of the country and expressed the wish to see other mining companies follow the example of Kamoa Copper by investing in the training and development of young talents.
Towards program expansion:
Building on the success of its first group of students, Kamoa-Center of Excellence plans to recruit 40 other students next year. This expansion will provide more opportunities for young people in the region and strengthen the company’s positive impact on the local community.
