Karim Khan expresses his frustration with the words spoken before the Security Council and the promises made to the Sudanese people since 2005, which he says “ring hollow”. It displays its collective shame towards the international community for not having acted more decisively in the last twenty years. According to him, impunity has fueled the crisis and it is time to show more determination and commitment to justice.

Conclusion :
The situation in Sudan and Darfur remains worrying, but the ICC shows its determination to continue its investigations despite the obstacles encountered. The people of Sudan, Darfur and refugees must know that their voices are taken into account and that the international community is not abandoning them.
