The DRC Ladies Leopards achieve a crucial victory against the Benin Guépardes in the 2024 Women’s CAN qualifiers.

The Leopards ladies of the DRC won a victory against the Guépardes of Benin in the first round of the qualifiers for the Women’s African Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco 2024. In an intense and contested match, the Congolese women managed to win with a score of 2-1.

Falonne Pambani and Naomie Kaba Kaba were the scorers for the Congolese team, while Yolande Gnamni scored for the Beninese team. Despite opportunities on both sides, no further goals were scored and the score remained unchanged until the end of the match.

The return match between the two teams is scheduled for September 27 in Cotonou. The winner of this confrontation will then face Equatorial Guinea or Libya in the next round.
