“Drinking water fountains in Isiro: a concrete hope for improving living conditions”

Drinking water fountains, a hope for the city of Isiro

The town of Isiro, capital of the Haut-Uélé province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is currently experiencing a significant change in its drinking water supply. Thanks to the commitment of the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation, new fountains are being built in different areas of the city.

This initiative comes in response to an urgent need of the population of Isiro who has suffered from a shortage of drinking water for years. The facilities of Regideso, the company responsible for water distribution, are obsolete and cannot meet the growing demand of the city’s residents.

The “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation took the initiative to finance the drilling of five new drinking water fountains in Isiro, for a total cost of $45,000. The drilling work for the first fountain, located in the Madulunga cell, has already been successfully completed. The drilling team is currently preparing for the next stage, the Sainte-Anne cell in the commune of Kupa.

Other sites are also planned to accommodate these new fountains, including Aketi Street, Mendambo, Kolu cell and the Kinkole district. This will significantly improve access to drinking water for residents of these neighborhoods who currently have to travel long distances to obtain water.

The installation of these fountains was made possible thanks to the request of the inhabitants of Isiro to their compatriot, Madame Nanou Sadiki Lola. This philanthropist is determined to alleviate the misery of her fellow citizens and has already carried out numerous interventions in various areas to improve the living conditions of the population of Isiro.

Drinking water is an essential need of daily life, and these new fountains represent real hope for the inhabitants of Isiro. By ensuring regular access to a source of clean drinking water, this initiative will contribute to the fight against water-borne diseases and improve the health and well-being of the community.

In conclusion, the construction of new drinking water fountains in Isiro is a significant step towards improving the living conditions of the city’s residents. Thanks to the commitment of the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation, access to drinking water will become easier and more regular, thus making it possible to preserve the health and well-being of the population. It is a laudable example of solidarity and mobilization for community well-being.
