The Congolese Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, recently submitted the draft Finance Law 2024 to the National Assembly. With an assessment of 40,463 billion Congolese Francs, this budget represents an increase of 24.7% compared to the previous year.
Sama Lukonde and his government respected the constitutional obligation to submit this draft budget before September 15. The Prime Minister highlighted the main priorities of this budget, particularly in the sectors of Defense, Education and Health.
