“Mista Poa is back on stage: a fiery comeback not to be missed!”

The return to the stage of Mista Poa: a fiery comeback for the singer from Butembo

After a remarkable period of silence, Mista Poa is back on the front of the music scene. The singer, known for his hits such as “Yengele Yengele”, “Kwa Nini” or “Cheke Cheke”, marked his comeback as the headliner of the second edition of the Tumaini festival in Beni, North Kivu .

Originally from the city of Butembo, Mista Poa wanted to reconnect with his audience in a different context. Recognized and appreciated by some, feared by others, he is aware of the mission that awaits him: to (re)conquer an audience and reinvent himself.

To mark his return, Mista Poa released the title “Pardon Butembo”, expressing his apologies for past offenses addressed to many people. In another song produced around the same time, he considers himself an “innocent prisoner”. These songs testify to his desire to redeem himself and make a new start.

In addition to these new titles, Mista Poa is actively working on a new 22-track album entirely dedicated to reggae. According to him, this album will be the most important of his career. It also plans the release of a 6-track EP, the first of which, entitled “Nando Style”, is expected this month of September 2023.

After experiencing a meteoric rise with hits like “Tatiana” and “Cheke Cheke”, Mista Poa is determined not to let anything go and seize every opportunity that comes his way. He claims that the artist of yesterday remains the same today, but he wants to reinvent himself to offer his audience a new musical experience.

Thus, Mista Poa’s return to the music scene marks a turning point in his career, and fans are impatiently awaiting the release of his new album, scheduled for 2025. In the meantime, they will be able to discover his new title “Nando Style” and prepare for a new era of reggae with Mista Poa sauce.
