“The Democratic Republic of the Congo and the United States are strengthening their ties to stimulate the country’s economic growth”

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Vital Kamerhe, recently had a meeting with the United States Ambassador to the DRC, Lucy Tamlyn, to discuss the economic situation in the country.

During this meeting, Lucy Tamlyn welcomed the significant progress of the Congolese economy since the arrival of President Félix Tshisekedi to power. She particularly appreciated the local development project for 145 territories in the DRC, which aims to stimulate economic growth in different regions of the country.
