Gentiny Ngobila and the Alliance of Progressive Congolese support the candidacy of Félix Tshisekedi for the presidential election of December 2023
The Alliance of Progressive Congolese (ACP), a political party chaired by Gentiny Ngobila, has announced its support for the candidacy of Felix Tshisekedi in the next presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This decision was taken during a congress organized in Kinshasa on Wednesday 6 September.
According to Gentiny Ngobila, President Tshisekedi has initiated important reforms that have had a positive impact on the lives of Congolese. In particular, he highlights the economic reforms that have allowed the national budget to quadruple in just four years, thus financing projects such as the Local Development Plan (PDL) of 145 billion dollars and the construction of basic infrastructure.
The governor of Kinshasa also highlights the political experience of Félix Tshisekedi, affirming that the latter constitutes a major asset for the presidency. This is why the ACP is firmly and irrevocably committed to supporting President Tshisekedi in his candidacy.
In addition to Gentiny Ngobila, several renowned political figures were present at this congress, including Bahati Lukwebo, Augustin Kabuya and Gecoco Mulumba.
This support from the Alliance of Progressive Congolese for Félix Tshisekedi marks an important step in the presidential campaign in the DRC.
