Antoine Dupont is undoubtedly one of the world’s rugby stars. This French scrum-half stood out for his exceptional talent, his power and his creativity on the pitch. His impressive performances earned him the undisputed captain of the France team.
At only 26 years old, Dupont already has a remarkable track record. He has won three French championships (in 2019, 2021 and 2023) as well as a Champions Cup (in 2023). His debut for the France team dates back to March 2017, during the Six Nations Tournament. Since then he has racked up 49 caps with Les Bleus, scoring 12 tries and winning a Grand Slam in 2022. Despite his young age, he quickly established himself as one of the most promising players in the championship. In 2017, he joined his dream club, Stade Toulousain, where he quickly adapted and made an impression with his power and speed of execution.
Unfortunately, in February 2018, a serious knee injury halted his progress. However, eight months later he returned to the pitch with a dazzling performance, signing three tries against Perpignan.
Despite his growing fame and growing popularity, Dupont never forgot his Gascon roots. He remains deeply attached to the village of Castelnau-Magnoac, where he discovered rugby during his youth with his brother, cousins and friends. He also contributed to the village being chosen as the starting town of the Tour de France in 2022. He returns there regularly and even enjoys a special day in his honor, organized by Magnoac FC.
Off the pitch, Dupont loves music and fashion, showing a curiosity that goes beyond the traditional framework of rugby. He made appearances on the media scene posing for magazines like GQ and taking part in cutting-edge photo shoots. He also has a clothing collection created in his name by the Ami brand..
