AS VClub of Kinshasa launches its own clothing brand: VEA, a new era in sports fashion

The VClub Sports Association of Kinshasa is making a name for itself in the world of fashion with the official launch of its own brand: VEA. This brand of sports equipment will adorn the club in the coming seasons and is the result of a collaboration with a Brazilian company managed by Mr. Bentoura.

The president of the club, Bestine Kazadi, presented the VEA brand during a press conference and announced the opening of two stores to market the derived products. VEA branded products include jerseys, caps, pens, scarves and water bottles, all featuring the club’s iconic colours.

“We have our own brand which will be put on sports derivative products ranging from jackets, caps, pens, scarves and water bottles. And above all, I did what you had asked me since my arrival: launch stores to market our VEA products. Today, we launched two stores. One store in Matonge near the Tata Raphaël stadium and another near Place Sainte Thérèse,” declared Bestine Kazadi.

The president of the club also expressed her ambition to extend this project outside the country by opening stores in other Congolese cities, such as Goma, Mbuji Mayi and Katanga, as well as abroad, notably in Angola.

In addition to the launch of the VEA brand, Bestine Kazadi also discussed the restructuring of the club’s administration and the communications unit, as well as the creation of women’s football teams.

This new step towards the diversification of the club’s activities shows the desire of the VClub Sports Association to explore new opportunities and strengthen its presence in the fashion market
