Hippopotamus destroying fishermen’s canoes on the Lufira River
In a remote area of the territory of Malemba Nkulu, in the province of Haut-Lomami in the Democratic Republic of Congo, an alarming situation worries the inhabitants. A hippopotamus recently wreaked havoc by destroying more than a hundred canoes belonging to local fishermen on the Lufira River.
