Inauguration of the Hilton Kinshasa Hotel by President Félix Tshisekedi
The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, made history this Saturday by inaugurating the Hilton Kinshasa Hotel. Located in the heart of the business center of the commune of Gombe, this prestigious establishment is the first of the Hilton hotel group in the city. The event brought together many hand-picked personalities including Prime Minister Sama Lukonde and hotel owner Harish Jagtani.
With its 178 rooms, including 13 suites, and its modern facilities that meet international standards, the Hilton Kinshasa Hotel is a real architectural gem. In addition to the rooms, it also offers 11 meeting rooms, 2 restaurants, 3 bars and a swimming pool, thus offering comfort and quality services to its customers.
During his inaugural speech, the general manager of the hotel, Marc Frère, underlined the importance of this event for the economic development of Kinshasa. He also insisted that the opening of the hotel represents an opportunity for the Congolese community, generating more than 350 direct jobs and 500 indirect jobs.
