INTENSIFICATION OF ACTIONS TO ASSIST DISPLACED PEOPLE IN EASTERN DRC
UNFPA, the UN agency for sexual and reproductive health, recently said it had stepped up action to assist more than 5 million displaced people in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Kenneth Ehouzou, deputy representative of UNFPA, underlined during a press café in Goma, capital of North Kivu, that these actions were part of the scaling up program of the UNFPA system.
