The Ministers of State for Budget and Finance promise more financial support for the pilot center of Kanyama Kasese (Haut-Lomami). During their visit to the site, they were impressed by the work carried out under the direction of Major General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik, Commander of the National Service. They stressed the importance of duplicating this experience of agricultural production in other provinces and pledged to allocate the necessary resources.

Aimé Boji, Budget Minister, said he came personally to see the results of the National Service led by General Kasongo. He was totally impressed with what he saw. For his part, Nicolas Kazadi, Minister of Finance, was impressed by the quality of the work carried out at the pilot centre. He stressed that the project goes beyond the simple production of corn, integrating the recovery of young people in difficulty, their training, the production and sale of diversified goods and services. According to him, this is a comprehensive and holistic response that deserves support.

The ministers expressed their desire to give more resources to the pilot center of Kanyama Kasese in order to allow the duplication of this experience in other regions of the country. They pointed out that the project is not limited to agricultural production, but also encompasses educational aspects such as the construction of buildings, schools and dormitories.

This visit of the Ministers of State for Budget and Finance demonstrates their interest in the economic and social development of the Democratic Republic of Congo. By supporting initiatives such as the pilot center of Kanyama Kasese, they show their willingness to invest in agriculture and the training of young people, with the aim of creating a real sustainable economic ecosystem.

It is encouraging to see ministers getting directly involved in the field and recognizing the efforts made by local initiatives. By granting more financial means and encouraging the duplication of this type of project, the government is contributing to the development of agriculture and the creation of jobs throughout the country.

The Kanyama Kasese pilot center is a concrete example of how local initiatives can have a positive impact on society. By supporting these initiatives and investing in similar projects, the Democratic Republic of the Congo can create a dynamic of sustainable economic development, allowing many communities to emerge from precariousness and prosper.
