“Funeral of Professor Lobo Kanza-Kanza in Kinshasa: a look back at the week’s highlights and an update on Congolese news”

On May 27, 2023, the Lobo family announced the death of their father and grandfather, Professor Lobo Kanza-Kanza, in Kinshasa. The funeral was organized according to the following program:

Friday, June 02, 2023:
– Worship of thanksgiving and funeral wake at the family home.

Saturday June 3, 2023:
– Arrival of family members, friends and acquaintances at the morgue of the University Clinics of Kinshasa.
– Academic tributes to the Faculty of Sciences.
– Testimonials from the Ituri community, friends and families.
– Laying of wreaths and contemplation.
– Departure for the Kimberley Memorial Park cemetery, Matadi Road, Diaki Village, KONGO CENTRAL.
– Consolation bath at the family home.
