At the People’s Palace, Thursday, June 8, senators received three government ministers to answer an oral question with debate from Senator Dénis Kambayi. The ministers each enlightened elected officials in their respective sectors. The Minister of State, Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works Alexis Gisaro reaffirmed the Government’s determination to rehabilitate roads throughout the country. The Minister of Agriculture José Mpanda Kabangu recalled the work done to allow good local agricultural production while the Minister of Sports and Recreation, François Claude Kabulo, reassured the population of the Grand Kasaï and Kasaï Central areas on the construction of the Ndaye Mulamba Stadium and the former Leopards Champions of Africa.
In response to each concern raised, the ministers provided clear answers which seemed to satisfy Senator Dénis Kambayi who was optimistic about the successful outcome of these various concerns. The plenary session ended with the addition to the timetable of the examination of the bill relating to the distribution of seats for the general elections scheduled for December 2023, following its adoption at first reading in the Assembly national.
