The DRC national football team on their way to the 2023 African Cup of Nations by facing the Panthers of Gabon!

The technical staff of the Leopards, the national football team of the Democratic Republic of Congo, traveled to Douala in Cameroon to establish their headquarters there before joining Franceville, where they will face the Panthers of Gabon on June 18. Composed of ten people, including the technical staff and players from TP Mazembe, the team will be joined by the coach’s assistant and all the binational professional players. This trip aims to prepare for the match of the 5th day of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. On this occasion, the team will meet the Ugandan Skulls in a friendly fixing match. However, manager Dondo Landu’s trip to Cameroon could be delayed due to the administrative procedures of some players.

This news reinforces the enthusiasm of the Congolese public for sport, and mainly for football.
