Introduction:

The Local Development Program based on 145 territories (PDL-145T) is one of the Congolese government’s major projects aimed at reducing inequalities between urban and rural areas. In this context, the Director General of the Central Coordination Office (BCeCo), Jean MABI, went to Mbuji-mayi, in Kasaï-Oriental, for an inspection mission of the sites opened within the framework of this ambitious program.

Inspection visits to ensure the achievement of objectives:

As soon as he arrived in Mbuji-mayi, Jean MABI embarked on a series of inspection visits to assess the progress of the work. The objective is to ensure that the various works planned under the PDL-145T are carried out in accordance with the standards and within the time limits.

Among the sites visited was a health center in Bakwa Tshibuyi, in the Kabala sector, Lupata Pata territory. The Director General was able to see the completion of the finishing works, thus giving birth to a brand new health centre. In addition, the visit continued in Miabi, where construction work on a new administrative building is underway. Only the roof remains to be finalized to complete the project.

Visits scheduled for the next few days:

The inspection mission will continue in the coming days with planned visits to KABEYA Kamuanga, Boya and Tshilenge. These visits will make it possible to check the progress of the work in these localities and to ensure the quality of the works carried out under the PDL-145T.
