“The Udps/Tshisekedi delegation meets the members of the Socialist International during its political trip to Europe”

The Udps/Tshisekedi delegation made a political trip to Paris and Brussels from May 19 to 26, 2023. This mission was led by the Secretary General of the Udps/Tshisekedi and Vice-President of the Socialist International, Augustin Kabuya. This visit was the occasion for fruitful meetings with the members of the federation of Great Britain and those of the section of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as with the members of the party “Autre Vision du Congo”.

During these meetings, the Secretary General of Udps/Tshisekedi encouraged discipline within the political party, and called for sincerity, unity, and non-exposure of the party’s problems in social networks. , while emphasizing the importance of taking into account Udps fighters of all kinds, whether they are those of the Udps in opposition or those of the Udps in power.

In France, the Secretary General of Udps/Tshisekedi met with members of the French federation, where they discussed issues relating to the activities of the federation, in particular preparations for the presidential election, financial and material means for the Federation.

Back in Brussels, the Udps/Tshisekedi delegation received in audience several individuals, but especially members of the federations of the Netherlands and Germany. These exchanges were very constructive and focused on the prospects of the Socialist International.

In addition, the Secretary General of Udps / Tshisekedi met Mrs. Benedicta Lasi, Secretary General of the Socialist International, who came from Germany in discussion with the Spd party. They discussed the perspectives of the Socialist International.

This visit was also the occasion of a visit to the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Belgium, where they discussed the situation of the diplomatic mission, and the march of the opposition of May 20.

The Secretary General of Udps/Tshisekedi closed this visit with a meeting with the Udps community in Belgium. The latter allowed a very constructive discussion on the activities of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi and on issues relating to the progress of the political party.

In short, this political trip was rich in fruitful meetings, conducive to the promotion of unity and cohesion within the Udps / Tshisekedi
