The Secretary General of Udps/Tshisekedi, Augustin Kabuya, accompanied by a delegation, carried out a political mission in the Paris-Brussels axis from May 19 to 26, 2023. This trip enabled him to meet various delegations, to discuss the situation of the party in the federation, but also the state of the diplomatic mission, the shortage of passports and the march of the opposition on May 20.
Augustin Kabuya had fruitful meetings with members of the Federations of Great Britain, Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as with young people from the “Autre vision du Congo” party. He passed on his know-how to them and gave them advice on the conduct of politics.
During his stay, he also met Ms. Benedicta Lasi, Secretary General of the Socialist International, and spoke with her about the organization’s prospects.
The Secretary General also visited Alexandre Ngyekama, Federal President hospitalized at the Gonesse Hospital Center in the Île-de-France region, with a message of comfort and support.
At the end of his trip, Mr. Augustin Kabuya met the Udps community of Belgium in the Nh Brussels Carrefour room, rue du Marché aux Herbes 110, 1000 Brussels.
This trip allowed Augustin Kabuya to have an intense political activity and to strengthen the links with the representatives of the party and other allies of the Udps.
