Rehabilitation of FIKIN, the largest fair in Kinshasa
The Kinshasa International Fair (FIKIN) is being rehabilitated. Didier Kabampele Ngabul, director general of this public institution, confirmed the normal continuation of the work. With this in mind, the Turkish company Milvet Enterprise is in charge of working on the modernization of this commercial space. By then, the FIKIN will have its best dress of the time with fairground editions to come, hopes DG Kabampele.
FIKIN has been working to promote the commercial, agricultural, industrial and artisanal products of the country since its creation. The ongoing rehabilitation project includes the construction of several offices, conference rooms, exhibition centers, an amusement park, a shopping center, a hotel and many others. Once completed, the renovation of the FIKIN will not only modernize the space but also meet the expectations of the Congolese population and foreign exhibitors.
The revival of FIKIN therefore appears to be a great opportunity for economic operators looking for a quality commercial space to display their products. Moreover, this renovation is a symbol of an economically more visible and increasingly forward-looking DRC. As President Tshisekedi pointed out, it is time to harmonize investment projects to boost infrastructure development in the DRC
