The Secretary General of UDPS/Tshisekedi, Augustin Kabuya, recently ended a diplomatic mission in Europe. From Brussels to Paris, the political leader managed to meet several political authorities, members of the Socialist International, as well as members of his partisan base, in particular the Federations of Great Britain, Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg , and from France.

The Secretary General of the UDPS/Tshisekedi did not fail to support the members of his party, as well as the Congolese community, by providing them with advice in the conduct of politics. Indeed, during his meeting with the members of the Federal Committee of Belgium, Augustin Kabuya invited the members to unity, sincerity, as well as the non-exposure of the party’s problems on social networks. Similarly, the political leader recalled the need to take into consideration UDPS fighters of all kinds.

Augustin Kabuya’s diplomatic mission in Europe has also made it possible to strengthen the links between the UDPS/Tshisekedi and the Socialist International. Indeed, the SG had constructive exchanges with Ms. Benedicta Lasi, Secretary General of the Socialist International, on the perspectives of the organization. To this end, the visit to Brussels City Hall, in the company of Mrs Benedicta Lasi and Mr Philippe Close, 1st Vice-President of the Belgian Socialist Party and Mayor of Brussels, was an opportunity to discuss relations between the UDPS and the Belgian Socialist Party, but also the activities of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi.

Finally, the diplomatic mission was marked by meetings with the udps communities of Belgium and France. Augustin Kabuya addressed hundreds of fighters, reaffirming the need for unity to achieve the party’s objectives.

This successful diplomatic mission thus shows the determination of the SG of the UDPS / Tshisekedi to strengthen the links between his party and its international allies, but also and above all, to mobilize his partisan base for the achievement of political objectives.
