It is important to note that the Pweto region is located at the crossroads of the main roads linking Lubumbashi, Kalemie and Zambia, but the state of the National Road number 5 (RN5) is very dilapidated. Despite this, 86 candidates for national deputies are already in the running for the two available seats.
