The challenges ahead are many, but with a clear vision and the commitment of all the actors concerned, the DRC has the potential to become a major player in the field of fisheries and aquaculture in Africa. By developing this sector, the country will not only be able to ensure food self-sufficiency for its population, but also generate income and create jobs for local communities.
ONPA is therefore a key element of this development strategy. By working in collaboration with stakeholders in the sector, ONPA will be able to contribute to the economic growth of the DRC while preserving natural resources and ensuring sustainable management of fishing and aquaculture.
